Joe's Dad bought the Impala SS Convertible new in 1962.  He was very particular about the car and even did most of the work on it himself. He let Joe and Sandy take it on their honeymoon in September 1962. In the 45+ years since, it's become a family tradition. Their son, Kevin, drove it away at his wedding in 1998, and Joe drove their daughter, Robyn, and her husband from their wedding in 2001.

Robyn & Mike, 2001

Joe made the Convertible road worthy in 1998 for his daughter Wendy's wedding, but it rained. The car briefly left the family in the 1970s, but Joe bought it back and spent most of the 90s restoring it to look the way it was when his Dad bought it in 1962.
